Information about Scriptural study

Along with encouraging trans-religious engagement to scripture, Jon uses the Gospel of John as a lens for studying and using scriptures (Christian and others). After many years of academic and contemplative work, Jon sees John’s Gospel as an invitation to an incarnational, communal experience of Being and as a portal for better understanding John’s relation to the other scriptures. Jon’s translation of an important early work in this latter regard – John and the Synoptics by Hans Windisch – is due to be published in 2026.
