Jon offers evening astronomy programs, geology tours of the upper Pioneer Valley, and customized hikes that incorporate his holistic aesthetic approach to Nature with teaching skills related to ecology, animal tracking, and micro-climates.
Scriptural study
Jon tailors scriptural study modules according to interest, often highlighting trans-religious understanding of texts. His own expertise and personal engagement with scripture focuses on the Gospel of John in relation to New Testament texts generally, the Torah, and non-canonical literature. Jon’s translation of Hans Windisch’s John and the Synoptics is due to be published in 2026.
